Gilded Lily Canister

Hey all, today I would like to share a DT project for Faith Pocock Craft Studio Ltd created using the Graphic 45 Gilded Lily papers. Would you believe that wehn I first saw these papers I was not at all fussed on them and actually passed them up, that is until they were included in my July kit from Faith :). So I thought I would revisit an old project from last year and create another storage canister.

Once again I have used three paper mache boxes and recycled cereal boxes.

Once again I have lightly sanded the cereal box

and then glued it to the little paper mache boxes like so ...

I created a hinge using some tyvek...

and then painted everything with some gesso

and now here is the finished box.

I have added some coffee dyed seam binding as a closure

I have decorated the box with pearl trims and paper flowers. All of which can be found here
