Masculine Birthday Card
Hi Crafty people,
I haven't made a card for a while & I was asked recently to make one for a family members boss. The papers used - Marion Smith - Timekeepers, a copper clock & some copper cogs - these were the specifics asked of me.
Well when I got started on making the card, my original thought was to make an easle card - then I thought, why make things complicated? lol - I am strapped for time!!!
Anyho, here's a couple pics.

I distressed all my paper edges using my tool. The copper metals did not go with the papers and so I ended up using Bronze instead. I attached the cogs to the strips using brads and unfortunately I didn't have enough of the same colours. I used Lindy Stamp Gang embossing powder and a Heidi Swapp Stamp for the Sentiment.

I cut my flower petals out of the paperline using my ek success punch and just layered them. One thing "I did do", after this picture was taken - was distress the flower edges too.

The inside of card - the bottom left blank for writing. Boo Hoo to me for not having a sentiment to match. Again all the edges distressed.

Back of my card (I think I better get a made by me stamp- lol) :) Thanks for stopping by, I was really happy with the way my card turned out.
